Vien is the director of rehab for Wake Forest Football where his duties include leading the injured athletes through weightlifting sessions, rehabbing long and short-term injuries, and collection/analyzing/presenting relevant data. He completed his D1 sports fellowship at Wake Forest, and his sports residency at Gundersen Health Systems. He continues to teach advanced courses to practicing clinicians, and also guest lectures to physical therapy students. He has published research in topics of ACL rehab and population health, author textbooks and modules for the APTA, and has presented at numerous conferences across several disciplines. He has held and continues to hold various committee and leadership positions within APTA and NATA.
